Making Connections Through the Crusades
Submitted by jsynnott on Wed, 08/18/2010 - 16:13.
This unit looks briefly into what the Crusades were (European perspective) and what the impact of the clashing of cultures had on Medieval Europe. Students will apply cause and effect logic to make contemporary connections as well. This is not a complete unit on the Crusades, it contains some quick hit information on who, what, where, when but is mostly geared at getting students to look at changes resulting from the prolonged wars and making connections between past and present.
