Exchange with the Environment

This unit is designed to give students an understanding of mechanisms responsible for movement of substances in to and out of cells.  The unit will explore the semi permeable nature of the cell membrane, and how the membrane allows for passage in to and out of the cell.  Students will also investigate osmosis and diffusion, and relate those processes to movement of materials in to and out of cells
